"Brinton Country"

Located approximately 25 miles southwest of Philadelphia, the territory occupied by the early Brinton settlers (and many of the modern Brintons, as well) is affectionately referred to as "Brinton Country". It spans across parts of two Pennsylvania counties (namely, Chester and Delaware), being generally bounded to the west by Route 82, to the north by Routes 162 and PA-3, to the east by Route 352, and to the south by U.S. Route 1.
