The William Brinton 1704 House and Historic Site is located on Oakland Road, just west of U.S. Route 202 in Dilworthtown, Pennsylvania.

  • From the Pennsylvania Turnpike
    Take Exit 24 ("Valley Forge"). Follow signs for U.S. Route 202-South. Take 202 south for approximately 20 miles, crossing over U.S. Route 30 and PA Routes 3 and 926 along the way. Turn right at the traffic light onto Brinton's Bridge Road, also known as Dilworthtown Road. At the first crossroads, turn left onto Oakland Road. The William Brinton 1704 House and Historic Site is about 1/2 mile down the road on the left side.
  • From the Northeast Extension (I-476/PA-9) of the Pennsylvania Turnpike
    Take the Northeast Extension south to the Pennsylvania Turnpike-West (I-276). Get off the turnpike at Exit 24 ("Valley Forge"). Follow signs for U.S. Route 202-South. Take 202 south for approximately 20 miles, crossing over U.S. Route 30 and PA Routes 3 and 926 along the way. Turn right at the traffic light onto Brinton's Bridge Road, also known as Dilworthtown Road. At the first crossroads, turn left onto Oakland Road. The William Brinton 1704 House and Historic Site is about 1/2 mile down the road on the left side.
  • From the "Blue Route" (I-476), west of Philadelphia
    Take Interstate 476 to Exit 3 ("U.S. Route 1"). Follow Route 1 south for twelve miles to U.S. Route 202. Turn right onto Route 202-North, and after about 1/2 mile, turn left at the traffic light onto Oakland Road. The William Brinton 1704 House and Historic Site is approximately 1 mile up the road on the right side.
  • From Interstate-95 in Philadelphia
    Take Interstate 95-South through Philadelphia to Exit 3A ("U.S. Route 322-West"). Follow 322 west for ten miles to U.S. Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1-South, and travel for one mile to U.S. Route 202. Turn right onto Route 202-North, and after about 1/2 mile, turn left at the traffic light onto Oakland Road. The William Brinton 1704 House and Historic Site is approximately 1 mile up the road on the right side.
  • From Interstate-95 in Maryland or Delaware
    Take Interstate 95-North through Wilmington to Exit 8 ("U.S. Route 202 / Concord Pike"). Follow 202 north for approximately 10 miles, crossing over U.S. Route 1 along the way. About 1/2 mile past Route 1, turn left at the traffic light onto Oakland Road. The William Brinton 1704 House and Historic Site is approximately 1 mile up the road on the right side.
  • From the New Jersey Turnpike
    Take Exit 6 for the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276). Follow the Pennsylvania Turnpike west for approximately 35 miles, and take Exit 24 ("Valley Forge"). Follow signs for U.S. Route 202-South. Take 202 south for approximately 20 miles, crossing over U.S. Route 30 and PA Routes 3 and 926 along the way. Turn right at the traffic light onto Brinton's Bridge Road, also known as Dilworthtown Road. At the first crossroads, turn left onto Oakland Road. The William Brinton 1704 House and Historic Site is about 1/2 mile down the road on the left side.
